Numi Consulting specializes in sourcing and procuring various steel products for customers.
Numi Consulting believes in being progressive and has placed a large focus on utilizing technology and innovation in both manufacturing and processes to ensure that customers receive the best quality stock. All our steel is sourced from leading manufacturers around the Globe and is both internationally and SABS certified. Numi Consulting focuses on clients within the fabrication and manufacturing space.
The Vision behind Numi Consulting is founded upon being agile, proactive decision making and focusing on employment for the youth. We are a BBE Level 1 Company.

WHERE WE STARTED
Oscar Naidoo having worked at various steel industry leaders in the Africa Market over the last 27 years identified a need for a company that could not only manage steel supply chain but also project manage clients expectations and vision through his level of industry expertise and his network of teams he has worked with over this time frame.
Our vision to sustainable economic growth for our clients,investing in the latest technology and global standards has made us market leaders to our clients. Educating and bringing our vision to the youth of the industrys we develop into ,we believe is the future of any company .

Chief Executive Officer: Karyn Naidoo
Karyn was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in 2022 as part of Numi Consulting’s continuous vision to empower youth and females within the South African Steel Industry.
Karyn’s background is in Strategic Consulting and Private Equity, specifically within turnaround strategies on M&A’s. Karyn holds a Business Science Degree with Honors in Finance from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal with a Deans Commendation and has worked in UK, US and African Markets in various sectors.
Operations Executive: Oscar Naidoo
Oscar Naidoo has an extensive 27 years of steel industry experience from holding various management positions.
“I would regard my career as being fruitful and impactful within the steel industry. In every operation I have been involved in from 1993 to current, I joined these organizations to grow their businesses and successfully gained them bigger market share. My strength is my personal drive to grow companies in tough and down turned economies. I have successfully done this by surrounding myself with an amazing team who I have worked with previously, trained and developed over the last 15 years. Each of my team specializes in individual areas of the company’s operations, and this gives me the vision and tools to grow my business with them.”
- 2018 – current: Operations Executive for Numi Consulting and a distribution agent for various steel mills .
- 2013 – 2017, CEO-KZN Allied Steel Rode Group, set up, staffing and development and running a new operation for the group in KZN and Cape Town. Created a market share of close to R300m within a four-year period concentrating on automotive, scaffold, construction, sheet, coil/ long product markets.
- 2009 – 2013, CEO of Global Steel Corporation, concentrated on SA Steel markets in the automotive scaffold and tubular and sheet/coil markets.
- 2007 to 2009, joined Steel City Tube Mills, as Marketing Director, and was involved in full operational setup of plant and strategic growth of the organisation in South Africa.
- 2001 – 2006, opened a consultancy firm and represented Trident Stirling Tube and SSP Group concentrating on automotive and production component manufacturing markets.
- 1995 – 2001, joined Macsteel Tube and Pipe as Tubing Manager, specialising in automotive.
- 1993, Tubecon Africa, Marketing Representative.
Founding Member: Salochana Naidoo
Mrs Naidoo has extensive experience from engineering ,human resources to education. Age has not defied this Lady,she is currently is involved in a major NGO giving back to the youth of South Africa from a learning point completely voluntary.
